Science day celebrated in Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University

On the occasion of National science day, Jayoti Vidyapeeth women’s university has celebrated Science Day “ANVESHAN” in university premises. “ANVESHAN” mean Investigation. Program was inaugurated by Dr Subhash Chandra, Dean of Biotechnology & food science. He enlightened the lamp and started the program. After that Ganesh vandana was performed by Shweta, student of Biotech. Dr Shubash addressed the students and said “We can achieve sustainable devices with the combination of science & technology. Biotech can play a major role for the scientific & technological devices of the country as it has potential for the production of different products like dairy, beverages, pharmacy medical etc, and it may reduce many problems like biodegrading for the pollution, green revolution for growing population”.

Students presented seminar on advancement in biotechnology. The presentation by the students was preceded by models display & poster presentation in a form of exhibition. Hon’ble Advisor & Founder Dr Panckaj Garg inaugurated the exhibition on national science day “Anveshan”. The models were based on energy production by the wind, hydraulic power and nuclear energy. Many models based on new technologies of green computing hacking & their solutions, volcanic and solar energy etc. Dr Garg blessed the students by his speech “Innovative & creative ideas by the students can help our country to touch the real horizon of scientific & technological development.”
